The narrative at the WEB site:

http://www.psofconn.com/brazil.htm

is of a fishing trip to the Rio Negro and Amazon River Basins in Brazil between October 17 -26, 2000. Just click (left mouse button) on the underlined text to view a corresponding photo.

These photos are large in file size between 35K (normal photos) to 181K (panoramic views) and are designed to fill your computer screen of 1024 x 768 pixels. They may take a little time to download. Be patient.

To speed things up a bit, you can right click the underlined text and, when the drop down menu is displayed, left click "Open New Window." This will start loading the graphic file in a new window. Left click on the other window to get back to reading the text. You may go back to the photo window at any time. Enjoy.

For those who joined me on this trip and wish to save any of these for your personal use, please do so.

The photos are in JPG format to reduce the file size. Your WEB browser (Netscape, IE, etc.) will not display them at their best, but will give you a good idea of what the area is like.

In order to get better resolution (sharper detail) and magnification, save these photos after they have been fully downloaded on your disc in a designated folder. You can then view them with another viewer.

You can download a very good viewer (ADCSee 3.x) free for a 90 day trial at:

http://www.acdsystems.com/english/products/acdsee/acdsee300.htm

I have been using older versions for over 4 years and think it is among the best.
