Make Us Your Primary Source For A WEB Page Design

Base Home Page Design Package

We offer a Home Page package to introduce small businesses to the WEB. With relatively little investment, your business will have access to the world of advertising.

The cost for a "base home page package" is $120. This package includes the following:

  1. One base Home Page ( up to 8.5" x 14"). You are to supply the text in ASCII code. (any major word processor is acceptable. Check with us). If coded text is not available, there is an extra charge of $25 per page, to type in ASCII code, your hand written or typed text. A spell check is included.
  2. The incorporation of three photos. The scanning of these photos is included. (All photos sent to me will be returned if requested.) I suggest that you use photos which are clear, sharp and with good color balance. (I can color balance and improve appearance somewhat but there is no substitute for a good original unless a special effort is expended. See photographic enhancement below.) These will appear superior on the WEB and will attract people. I can also use your photos that have already been digitized.
  3. The incorporation of one logo. Your logo can be made "transparent" if it lends itself to a transparent GIF conversion. e.g. the water or sky appearing in the background of this Page. Transparent GIFs do not make photo items look blocky and blend in nicely with the back ground.
  4. Up to four links to secondary pages.
  5. One personal E-mail link (your E-mail address)
  6. One "hit" counter to indicate the number of people who have visited your site.
  7. One background image (already developed such as the water background). A variety of background files in the public domain will be also available to you.
  8. Data (Home Page) uploading to destination site (your server).
  9. Announcements to several of the most popular Search Engines (e.g. Yahoo & Lycos). This will let the world know that you are on-line.
  10. One hard copy of the Page for editing and minor corrections.

Additional (Secondary) Pages

$50.00 will be charged for each additional secondary page and will include:

  1. The links as stated above.
  2. The scanning and incorporation of three photos as stated above.
  3. The incorporation of the logo as stated above.
  4. The incorporation of your text as stated above.
  5. The incorporation of links as stated above.

Billing

Billing will be made as follows:

  1. A down payment of one half to be enclosed with purchase order.
  2. The final payment to be made after final submittal of minor corrections by the customer.
  3. Uploading to the server will be made within 1 week of receiving the minor corrections & final payment.

I think that you will find these prices very competitive. It is a low cost way for you to get on the WEB with your own Home Page and to introduce your products and services to potential customers.

If you are contemplating getting on-line and have no prior experience in the field, my advice is to contact a local server for a quote for on-line service and the capability for a home page. You should ascertain that there are no toll calls for going on-line. Also check for availability of an 800 number. Some servers may consider you "commercial" and charge accordingly, so be aware and check your options.

Our server, for example, charges $19.95/month for unlimited hours on line (this varies greatly with servers and is continuously changing.) This price provides me with 5 megabytes of memory for a home page(s). Home page(s) with the graphics similar to my pages are estimated at approximately 300 Kilobytes. You have plenty of room for expansion.

We look forward to hearing from you and working with you on the design of your customized WEB page.
